Chalki is fringed by magnificent beaches; many of them can be accessed by foot, while others by boat. The most outstanding among them are:

• Ftenagia
  Small rocky beach with wonderful turquoise waters.
• Giali
  Small non-organized beach with white pebbles and crystal-clear waters.
• Trachia
  A narrow stretch of land connecting the peninsula of Trachia with the rest of the island.
• Areta
  A small beach with large white pebbles and blue-green waters hemmed in by steep rocks.
• Pontamos
  The most popular beach on the island, a small and narrow stretch of white fine-grained sand.
• Kania
  A small and picturesque organized pebble beach.
